Designed for Sikh Culture as it lives today

Wootz was founded in London in 2012 by Azadvir Singh, shaped by a simple question familiar to many Sikhs in the diaspora: what would it look like for Sikh culture to live naturally within everyday life?

Growing up, it was difficult to find objects, art, or pieces for the home that reflected Sikh identity in a contemporary way. Children rarely saw themselves in what they played with, and homes often lacked the cultural markers that help identity feel present rather than distant. Wootz began as a way to bridge that gap by bringing Sikh culture into modern living spaces through thoughtful design.

The name Wootz comes from the legendary steel known for its strength and resilience. Each piece is created with the same spirit and built to last in both material and meaning. From apparel and art to home pieces, every creation is designed to sit naturally within everyday life and carry culture forward rather than hold it still.

For over a decade, people around the world have trusted Wootz to bring Sikh culture into their homes in ways that feel authentic, contemporary, and enduring.

Wootz exists to live alongside you in your home, your family, and your everyday life.
